It All Started With a Frustrating "Unboxing"

A few years ago, I ordered an amethyst geode online — excited, specific about what I wanted. What arrived was a dull, grey stone with its entire base plastered in heavy cement weighting. The seller's response: "product photos are for reference only." That experience made one thing clear: in the crystal market, the gap between what's shown and what ships is the industry's biggest unresolved problem.

For all amethyst cave and geode specimens: the listing photo is the exact individual
piece that ships to you — not a representative sample. Every natural inclusion,
color band, and crystal formation you see in the image is what arrives at your door.
We do not ship random pieces, and we do not operate blind box selections.

Evaluated Quality

Every natural amethyst crystal, geode, and jewelry piece in our catalogue has been
individually evaluated before listing — assessed for color depth, structural integrity,
and natural character. Items that don't meet our selection standard are not listed,
regardless of price point.

Geological Truth

Our Uruguayan amethyst series carries no cement weighting. Our Brazilian amethyst
series is not heat-treated for color enhancement. Where natural inclusions, color
zoning, or matrix variations exist in a specimen, we document them in the listing —
because these are the characteristics of a genuinely natural, untreated amethyst crystal,
not defects to conceal.
